This Google Sheet provides an easy to use calculator for the following:
- Initial investment
- Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) calculator
- Rebalancing calculator
Tabs along the bottom of the Investing Calculator sheet allow you to choose your desired portfolio model.
The Google sheet linked above is not editable. For your own use download the sheet to your own computer and modify the inputs as you see fit. If you accidently screw up the calculator code just download a fresh version and start over. Instructions popup below. To make a copy for yourself. Click >> File >> Make a copy – this will save an editable copy to your own Google Drive. You must be signed into your Google account.
- You only need to enter data in the green ovals.
- Data in the blue ovals will populate for you.
- Do not change percentage allocations unless you are making a custom portfolio
It’s that simple! You can DCA your stock purchases monthly, quarterly, or yearly using this calculator to keep your allocations within your designated portfolio.
